Vigilance Awareness



The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed schools to observe ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ 2018 to support Central Vigilance Commission’s endeavor to promote transparency, accountability and integrity in public life. This year the Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 29th October 2018 to 3rd November 2018 with the theme “Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India”.

Under the guidance of Principal Mr. M S Saravanan, Shrishti Vidyashram Sr. Sec. School, Vellore organized Essay writing, slogan competition, poster and banners were also displayed.

On 29.10.2018 a panel discussion was organized on the topic ‘Eradicate Corruption’ with Mr. G Olivannan, CEO of Emerald Publishers as the chief guest and moderator. Mr. Olivannan also, conducted an interactive session for students. The ‘Integrity Pledge’ was administered at the end of the session in which staff & students participated.

Findings from other research conducted in major cities, including los angeles and san diego, further illustrate this phenomenon.
