Community Services at Vellore Blind School

As part of our commitment to social responsibility and inclusive education, a team of teachers visited a school for the visually impaired on 25th July 2026 to extend meaningful educational support and make a positive difference in the lives of the students. The teachers conducted interactive reading sessions by reading textbooks and storybooks aloud, helping the students engage with their lessons in an encouraging and enjoyable environment. They also assisted in organising and aligning computer systems in the school’s computer laboratory, making the devices more accessible and convenient for student use. In addition, the team recorded important study materials in audio format, providing valuable learning resources that enable students to revise lessons independently and confidently. The visit proved to be a truly enriching experience for both the teachers and the students. It highlighted the importance of empathy, accessibility and inclusive education while reinforcing the values of compassion, service and community engagement. Such initiatives continue to inspire our educators to contribute towards building a more caring, supportive and inclusive society.
