As part of their CBSE lesson Winds of Change, the students of Class IX ‘B’ participated in a vibrant craft activity on 17 July 2026, celebrating India’s rich handicraft tradition. Facilitated by Dr. Mohammed Ismail R, the session challenged students to work in teams to design and create traditional pankhas (hand fans) within a 30-minute timeframe. Using colourful materials and innovative ideas, the students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, quick decision-making, and artistic expression. The activity successfully fostered a deeper cultural appreciation for India’s traditional craftsmanship. The session concluded with an impressive exhibition of the beautifully crafted pankhas, standing as a testament to the students’ creativity and collaborative spirit.
